Creating more job opportunities for young people in Mid Wales will be one of the objectives of the next Conservative Government, says Fay Jones.

The Brecon and Radnorshire MP said she has been impressed by the energy and enthusiasm of young party members attending this week’s Conservative conference in Manchester.

She told the BBC: “16 young Conservatives turned up this morning to talk to me.

“I represent a constituency which doesn’t have enough young people because, sadly, they move away.

“I think people in my area understand that if we’re able to get a Conservative Government, we can change that, we can bring investment into Wales, we can create jobs and give them reasons to stay in Brecon and Radnorshire.”
