The A470 is currently closed from Llyswen to Llansteffan due to a collision.
The road is closed due to a single-vehicle collision involving a lorry near Llyswen, which happened at around 7.45am today.
No injuries were reported.
A spokesperson for the police said: “The road is currently closed for recovery and the closure is being managed by the council.”
Dyfed-Powys Police has said that the road will be closed for the next 7 - 8 hours.
They have also asked road users to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
