POLICE are urging members of the public to remain vigilant after an attempted break in took place in Llangattock.

A statement released by PCSO Billy Dunne 8058 of Dyfed-Powys Police said: "There was an attempted break in at a property within the Llangattock area of Crickhowell in the early hours of May 22.

"Dyfed Powys Police are working with colleagues from Gwent police and have subsequently arrested two males in relation to the incident.

"We are urging members of the public to remain vigilant, and report any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area. We are continuing to carry out patrols in the area."
