Brecon firefighters have rescued a lamb that had become stuck in a six-foot ditch.
On Wednesday, June 19 the crew from Brecon Fire Station came to the aid of the animal that had come into trouble in Llanfaes.
The incident involved carefully navigating steep terrain as well as overgrown vegetation which needed to be cut back using hand saws to access the lamb.
Demonstrating their animal rescue training and skills, crew members used a triple-extension ladder to reach and successfully and safely rescue the lamb and return it to its farmer.
