Police have thanked the public for their help after a wanted man from Brecon was arrested yesterday.
An appeal was issued by Dyfed-Powys Police last week for information to help find Callum Samuel, aged 21, from the Brecon area. He had been recalled to prison after being released on licence, after serving part of his sentence for possession with intent to supply drugs and driving offences.
Officers also wanted to speak with him in connection with an assault in Brecon on Christmas Eve last year.
A spokesperson for the police force said in a statement yesterday (Tuesday): "Following a public appeal for Callum Samuel an arrest was made earlier today
"We would like to thank the media and our communities for assisting our investigation."
