Two children were taken to hospital after two vehicles overturned on the Brecon Beacons.

Emergency Services were called around 4.35pm on Wednesday, August 2 to a collision on the RAC Bends near the Storey Arms on the A470.

Two adults with non-life-threatening injuries and two children with minor injuries were taken to the Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil.

Two crews in emergency ambulances arrived on the scene to find two overturned vehicles, a purple Volkswagen Transporter van and a white Peugeot Boxer.

Traffic was slightly delayed as the police blocked the main road between Brecon and Merthyr Tydfil and diverted traffic through a nearby lay-by.

The road was re-opened at 6.10pm after both vehicles were recovered.
