During a busy week for Western Beacons Mountain Rescue Team, they were called out on Monday, 3 July.
Heddlu Dyfed-Powys Police contacted the team to help search for a missing male, who had been reported as overdue whilst carrying out a two day hike in the Brecon Beacons.
To cover the large search area, the team called upon assistance from neighbouring rescue teams, Brecon Mountain Rescue Team and Maritime and Coastguard rescue helicopter.
The missing person was located safe and well after a few hours.
Over the weekend, the team trained with multiple other rescue teams in Wales, which was enjoyed by all.
