Brecon Mountain Rescue Team received a callout on Saturday, 10 June to Brecon Caersws bike park where a mountain biker had come off his bike and sustained severe injuries.

Wales Air Ambulance Charity and Aberdyfi Search and Rescue Team were called out to help due to the seriousness of the injury.

The casualty was treated by EMRTs medics then packaged and stretchered.

They were taken away to hospital via a helicopter.

A spokesperson for Brecon Mountain Rescue Team said: "We wish the casualty a speedy recovery."
