On Sunday, 11 June Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were called out to assist an off-road motorbiker near Llandegley who had an accident.
Local farmers helped the Mountain Rescue Team personnel get onto the hill and stayed with the casualty until help arrived.
The and Welsh Ambulance paramedics treated the casualty.
He was then packaged and and taken off the hill in the Mountain Rescue Team's Land Rover to an awaiting ambulance.
A spokesperson for Brecon Mountain Rescue Team said: "We would like to thank the local farmers who helped get MR personnel onto the hill and also waited with the casualty until help arrived.
"We wish the casualty a speedy recovery."
