POLICE are appealing for information after a man was killed following a crash between a quad bike and a motorcycle.

Motorcyclist John Griffiths 44, from the Ciliau Aeron area of Ceridigion, suffered fatal injuries in the crash near Llangadog at 4.40pm on Sunday, October 23.

A 22-year-old man from Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Dyfed-Powys Police said the investigation was continuing.

A statement issued by the force said: "We would like to speak to anyone who was present in forestry near Cilgwyn Mansion, Llangadod to build up a picture of events.

"Any members of the community who may have been present in the forestry at the time of the collision are asked to contact PC 766 Roger Jones at the Carmarthenshire Roads Policing Unit on 101."
