Police have launched an appeal after 40 ewes were stolen from a Breconshire common.

The livestock theft took place in the area of Y Gelli, between Heol Senni and Crai Reservoir.

The rural crime division of Dyfed-Powys Police said the theft occurred at some point between August 26 and September 2.
