Part of the A470 is closed this morning between Rhayader and Llangurig following a collision.
The road was closed in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday) in both directions by police.
Local reports suggest the closure is affecting the road near to Rhayader.
A spokesperson for Dyfed Powys Police said: “The road is currently closed due to a collision.
“Please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey.”
