It has been nearly six years since The Drew Barker-Wright Charity was founded.
In that time, this local organisation has funded £135,000 of research into rare childhood cancer, and continues to raise awareness and support UK families affected.
This Saturday (September 23) to mark Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the charity will be taking to the stage at Theatr Brycheiniog for a variety performance.
Melanie, Drew’s Mum has said: “Our area is bursting with talent, and what better way to raise funds for childhood cancer research than bringing all that talent together, under one roof, for one special night!”
Drew’s concert will be a wonderful mix of music, song, dance and laughter.
There are a few remaining tickets available for the event.
With special guests West End leading man Matt Rawle (Martin Guere, Evita, Zoro, Cabaret, Aspects of Love) and Natalie Ngyutin (Fame, Smokey Joe’s Café, Inkle and Yarico, Bombay Dreams) Rachel Noble, The Westenders, Marc Williams and Helen Jones, Poise Dance, Brecon Little Theatre, Mid Wales Dance Academy, Alive & Kickin’ Community Choir, Christ College and Angel School of Dance.
