The Money MOT is a new service to help people aged over 50 take control of their money matters and improve financial skills.
Age Cymru Powys will help to assess your current financial situation and plan for the future. Your personalised report will tell you what to prioritise and offer guidance on how to improve your financial well-being from midlife through to retirement.
The charity is offering fun group courses across Powys on money management topics including numeracy skills for; maximising income; reducing expenses; budgeting; comparing prices; in the workplace and using technology.
Also on offer are bite-sized drop-in workshops and 1:1 support, including at your home if you’re unable to attend a course. No IT experience or equipment is required.
Stephanie Griffiths, financial inclusion officer at Age Cymru Powys, said: “With the current cost of living crisis, many people are worried about their finances. We are on your side to increase your financial well-being with fun, friendly support in the way that suits you best.
