Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were called out this weekend to assist Western Beacons Mountain Rescue Team with a woman who had slipped, injuring her leg, in the waterfalls area of the Beacons.

Also with help from Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team, the woman was treated by a paramedic and the teams successfully got the casualty onto a stretcher.

She was taken to a waiting Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust ambulance.

A spokesperson for Brecon Mountain Rescue Team said: "We wish the lady a speedy recovery!"
