Morrisons in Brecon will be holding fundraising days this week for charity.

On Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21, there will be a static bike in store, where staff will be putting in the hard miles to raise funds.

The event will be opened by Mayor of Brecon, Cllr John Powell, High Sheriff of Powys, Kathryn Silk and the Morrisons Brecon store manager, David Pearce.

Morrisons is currently partnered with Together for Short Lives - the only charity supporting children’s hospices across the UK.

The Brecon store is twinned with Tŷ Hafan Children's Hospice.

There will be a variety of other activities to get involved with over the two days, including a guess the amount of sweets in the jar contest and a short story competition.
