Brecknock Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs recently held its 76th Annual Junior Drama, Pantomime, Junior, and Senior One Plus Competition at Theatr Brycheiniog.

A total of 297 members competed throughout the week, showcasing an incredible variety of talent. The Federation would like to extend sincere thanks to the adjudicators, Mr Robert Meadows and John and Gemma James, for generously giving their time to judge the competitions.

Theatre staff Carl, Adam, and Ioan were instrumental in ensuring the technical aspects ran smoothly. Thanks also to Tab Wheeler for filming the productions, Ruth Rees Photography for capturing the performances, and Andrew Bufton for providing microphones and technical equipment. The backstage stewards - Dyfed Watkins, Ryan Watkins, Peter Hope, Marc Williams, and Steph Sweetingham - along with county officials, worked tirelessly throughout the week and deserve great appreciation.

A special thank you goes to the clubs, members, producers, club leaders, parents, and supporters who make this festival possible each year.

Erwood won the Pantomime competition, followed by Builth Wells & Beulah and Trecastle. Erwood YFC, as overall winners, will now represent the county at the Wales YFC Finals on Saturday, March 22 in Llanelli.

The Saturday also saw the Junior and Senior Member of the Year competitions. A huge thank you to judges Endaf and David for their time.

Both will now go on to represent the county at the Wales Finals.
