Brecon Jazz 2024 is set to welcome everyone to its ‘Festival Family Day’ at The Castle of Brecon Hotel this summer.

The event will take place on Sunday, August 4 and run between midday and 8pm.

The main shows will be under cover in their large marquee.

Inclusive tickets at £18 per person, with all accompanied children attending for free, can be booked in advance now.

This family and jazz day brings together music from three exciting bands - BARAKA (global beats, melodies, rhythms), the JAZZ PASSENGERS (swinging sounds, with classy vocals) and JINGU BANG (free-flowing funky magic). All of the acts provide very “danceable” music and are perfect for a summer day out!

In addition, there are special activities for both adults and children, including an art of jazz workshop (painting colourful album covers), a craft-making workshop (in preparation for the festival parade), face painting, and singing together sessions (no wrong notes!).

A lovely range of food will also be available throughout the day. The Castle Hotel is offering a festival menu and there will be ice creams on sale, plus varied meal options from local partner outlets on the site.
