Brecon Mountain Rescue Team was called out recently after a woman fell from a horse.

The team was contacted to assist the police and ambulance service with the rescue, which took place on the hills above Hundred House on Monday, April 29.

Working alongside paramedics from the ambulance service, the mountain rescue team helped assess the casualty on scene and transfer her to a coastguard helicopter, to be lifted to hospital.

A spokesperson for Brecon Mountain Rescue Team said: “The lady had been incredibly well looked after by the people she was riding with, keeping her warm and comfortable until help arrived. The team wish her well for a good recovery.”
