Following on from the success of the charity calendars which they produced for 2022 and 2023, members of Brecon Rotary are preparing for the production of their 2024 edition.

This year’s theme will be ‘Waters of Breconshire’ and is meant to be interpreted widely, reflecting water, in all its forms, throughout Brecon and the surrounding area.

If you would like the opportunity of having your photograph published in next year’s calendar, please submit your image, as a high quality jpeg file, attached to an email and send to [email protected]

Applicants can submit up to three photographs.

Images will be accepted up to and including the closing date Monday, April 17 2023.

A panel of three members of Brecon Rotary Club will select the best 12 images and notify all entrants by Monday, May 8 2023. Those entrants whose images are selected for the calendar will receive a complimentary copy.

The best 12 images selected will go into the 2024 calendar which will be on sale in various locations in and around Brecon - for the last two years, they have been sold at many places including Llangors Community Shop, Cradoc Golf Club, The Welsh Venison Centre, Exclusive Wedding Wishes, Talybont Stores, Centre of Attention, Beacons Crafts and Visit Brecon.

People who submit their images will be helping Brecon Rotary to raise funds for local causes. They are further assisted by local businesses who sponsor the calendar to save printing costs and the retail outlets who sell them.
