A celebratory event for the NHS's 75th birthday, held at The Muse in Brecon, has raised £400 for the Breconshire War Memorial Hospital League of Friends.

The NHS birthday party was organised by Brecon’s Labour County Councillors. The event included a raffle and stalls selling plants, books and delicious cakes.

Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for a Fairer Powys Matthew Dorrance tweeted about the event, thanking Brecon's Mayor and Dame Shân Legge-Bourke for joining.
