Bronllys Santa Group took to the streets on a cold and rainy afternoon just before Christmas to raise funds for Dementia Matters in Powys.

The event took place on Saturday, December 21.

The festive group consisted of four elves - Emma, Rachel, Lorna and daughter, Grace - plus Colin, the driver of the mechanical reindeer.

The reindeer towed the sleigh through the streets while Father Christmas took time out of his busy schedule to hand out gifts to the children.

Today (Thursday, January 9) a cheque for £440 was handed over to the dementia group in Kensington Church Hall, Brecon.

The cheque was handed over by Terry Hurford and his wife Bronwen, which was gratefully received, before a cuppa was enjoyed by all.
