A church community in Builth Wells raised more than £600 last week with a coffee morning.

Cytun, Builth Wells – (Churches together in Wales) held a coffee morning in Wesley Methodist Church during last weekend to celebrate Christian Aid Week (May 14-20).

The event was held on Saturday, when a total of £600 was raised for Christian Aid.

A selection of goods were on sale including, home-made cakes, books, CDs, and bric-a-brac.

A `Guess the Name` game and a raffle completed the occasion.

The impressive fundraising total was raised from collections, donations and the coffee morning.
