Builth Pump Track was the venue recently for a great afternoon of racing, skills sessions and general biking fun.
The event was part of the Welsh Cycling Festival Series that is taking place across the country this summer.
There will another event at Rhayader Pump Track on Saturday, June 1.
The event was organised by the Builth Bike Bash Committee, who were really pleased at the success of the event.
A spokesperson for the committee said: “We haven’t organised races here before, but everything worked really well and even the weather was kind!”
There were races for balance bikes and scooters, as well as events for several age categories on bicycles. There was also a pump only race - where no pedalling was allowed!
The winners received medals and Easter eggs.
Ffion James from Welsh Cycling and Barry Hardiman from The Bulls Cycling Club managed the skills sessions, which involved ramps, jumps and balance boards.
The junior football club provided a tasty range of hot and cold refreshments which proved very popular.
The Pump Track Jam Festival in Rhayader on Saturday, June 1 is being organised by Rhayader Riders at the Rhayader Pump Track. It will coincide with the second round of the British Pump Track Series, which is in Rhayader that weekend.
