Builth Wells Rotary has donated £250 to support the local parkrun after equipment was recently stolen from its storage unit.
The donation, presented by Rotary President Robert Evans, will help the Builth Wells parkrun organisation replace the essential items needed to continue its weekly events.
Parkrun organiser, Lee Jarvis accepted the cheque at a recent meeting.
Parkrun takes place every Saturday at 9:30am (weather permitting) around the 5km circuit of The Groe in the centre of Builth Wells.
Participants can walk, jog, run, or skip the route - following the mantra '5k your way - providing a boost for both mental and physical wellbeing.
Since its launch, Lee has organised 210 parkruns, all managed by a dedicated team of volunteers.
