Lucky guests were treated to a taster at Brecon’s newest cafe, Arabella’s Artisan Eatery, ahead of its official opening last week.
Business owner Josie Thompson delighted friends and family with a glimpse of her new menu, as she revealed Arabella’s newly-renovated space.
The eatery is at 35 High Street Brecon - next to Flowers by Becca Jane - and will provide simplistic, tasty and diverse foods with its all-day brunch menu. Also available will be local coffees and freshly baked viennoiserie, patisserie items and salad bar.
Chef Josie, who trained in London’s Westminster Kingsway Chef School, has worked in Michelin Star restaurants, butcheries and ski chalets, and also runs her own dinner party company, Arabella’s Private Dining. She has a passion for creating seasonal dishes, which will be sourced on the day from local suppliers.
“I’m really excited for this next part in growing my business and to use local ingredients to create dishes for customers,” said Josie.
“The opening night for friends and family went really well. I think the highlight for everyone was the focaccia, so I will have to make it for the eatery!
“It was lovely to see my vision become a reality and I can’t wait to open our doors to the public.”

Arabella’s Artisan Eatery is open Wednesday - Sunday, 9am-4pm.
