The Brecon and Sennybridge Committee of Cancer Research Wales (CRW) held their popular Carols and Canapés event on Sunday, December 8.
It took place at Treberfydd House, kindly hosted by Sally and Hugh Martineau, and ably assisted by their children.
With log fires blazing and two Christmas trees, the house had been beautifully decorated by the family.
Two guests from CRW headquarters in Cardiff were delighted to attend.
A delicious spread of canapes was enjoyed by all, followed by carol singing with Rev Trina Lodge at the piano.
The evening came to an end with the raffle of two hampers, with the first one won by Charles de Winton.
An impressive total of £364 was raised for the charity.
