After a quiet couple of weeks for Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team, they were called out to Bike Park Wales on Saturday, December 2.
A female rider at the park sustained injuries to her knee and lower leg whilst riding on one of the trails with her partner.
The casualty was treated by the team's doctor and the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust workers.
The lady was administered some analgesia prior to the leg being splinted.
Mountain Rescue Team members helped carry the casualty on a stretcher to the forestry road.
She was then taken to hospital on board a Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust ambulance for further assessment and treatment.We wish her well and a speedy recovery.
