The Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team has been assisting in efforts to locate a missing man from Gwent.

Kyle Powell, age 31, was last seen wearing a navy and burgundy mac coat over the top of a grey North Face coat, with dark jogging bottoms and white trainers. He is from Abertillery.

Gwent Police posted their appeal via their Facebook page, asking for anyone with information to call 101 or send a direct social media message, quoting log reference 2500059740.

The Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team has been working jointly with handler members from the Search and Rescue Dog Association, as well as Longtown Mountain Rescue Team and Severn Area Rescue Association. They have urged anyone with information to get in touch with Gwent Police.

Kyle was last seen near Caefelin Street, Llanhilleth, at around 1:30am on Monday, February 24, with officers concerned for his welfare. He is described as being around 6 foot tall with short blonde hair and tattoos covering one of his arms.
