Cradoc Golf Club Members have presented a cheque for more than £4,500 to the League of Friends, Brecon Hospital.

The charity was the Club’s chosen charity of the year for 2022, and members organised a variety of fundraising events and activities to raise the total amount of £4,739.92.

The League of Friends of Brecon Hospital actively support the Brecon War Memorial Hospital every year. The Hospital presents the League with a “wish list” for things which cannot get funding from elsewhere with the aim to improve services to patients.

The League of Friends Chair of Trustees Fiona Jones said: “We are so grateful to the Members of Cradoc Golf Club for this huge donation. I know that it will be spent wisely and will benefit many local people.”
