Brecon Mountain Rescue Team was called out to two separate incidents on Pen y Fan recently, with casualties sustaining leg injuries.
On Sunday, June 2, the team were called out to Pen y Fan by Dyfed-Powys Police. A walker had fallen and sustained a leg injury. Casualty carers treated the casualty on the scene and stretchered them off to an awaiting ambulance.
The team were called out again to Pen y Fan on Saturday, June 8 to a casualty who had sustained an ankle injury. Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team were also called to assist the team. The casualty was treated for pain relief and splinted, then stretched off the hill to an awaiting ambulance.
