A school community has supported Hay & Brecon Food Bank with generous donations.

On Thursday, October 24, pupils and staff at Hay-On-Wye Community Primary School joined with parents and governors to give thanks for the Harvest, with both a morning and an afternoon service.

Donations from parents were gifted at the services, held in the school hall.

Each class performed an item, with songs and poems in Welsh and English enjoyed by all.

Year 6 led the services by introducing each class item, giving thanks and delivering a bilingual prayer to finish.

Headteacher, Mr Richard Morris, would like to thank pupils, staff, parents and governors for such hard work this half term and wish everyone a well-deserved and restful week off.
