The toy and train collector’s bonanza is set to reach Brecon again, when the regular and popular Toy & Train Sale arrives at the Market Hall for the fourth and final visit of the year.

The event will take place between 10.30am and 2.30pm this Sunday, December 11 2022.

The Brecon Toy & Train Sale has been running each May and September for the past 19 years under the same management, and is now very well-established and is still proving highly popular with both stallholders and the public alike.

The additional July and December events are a more recent change, having started a few years ago and have also proved to be very popular. Patrons will be glad to learn that four dates have been booked at Brecon for 2023.

Organizer Chris Dyer told the Brecon & Radnor Express this week: “We all look forward to our visits to the heart of the Beacons each year and the wonderful and historic Victorian Market Hall is one of our most unusual yet well-liked venues.

“We have an excellent caterer operating at this show and the light and spacious Market Hall never ceases to be a big hit with everyone attending.

“We will have many top traders present from all over Wales and England and it is widely considered to be an event not to be missed. This of course, is our annual SUNDAY event at Brecon in the run-up to Christmas and the New Year and admission remains at just £2.50.”

A very wide range of models, old and new, will be on offer, spread across some 90-plus tables and such famous names as Dinky, Corgi, Matchbox, Tri-ang, Hornby, Wrenn, Lima, Bachmann plus many, many more will be present.

At prices to suit every pocket, there truly will be something for everyone at Brecon and traders are also hoping that customers will also bring in any surplus items for valuation and for possible purchase or exchange, so do get up into your attic and start bringing down your “treasures” from yesteryear as they could be worth more than you thought.
