A talented Crickhowell soprano will be performing in a choral concert at St Mary’s Priory Church in Monmouth.
Carys Davies, a student at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, will take part in a concert presented by Monmouth School for Girls on Saturday. May 7 at 7pm.
Miss Davies is a former student at the school and won its Eisteddfod Blue Riband music competition in 2020.
The choral evening, under the baton of Mr Derek Harris, is free of charge and will include beautiful works from Fauré and Vivaldi.
Previously in 2019, Miss Davies performed in the children’s opera Brundibár at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, as part of Welsh National Opera youth opera production.
