About the Film:

Frank Capra’s It’s a Wonderful Life is a timeless classic that celebrates kindness, resilience, and the extraordinary impact of one life on others. Starring James Stewart as George Bailey, the story unfolds in the quaint town of Bedford Falls, offering a moving reminder of the importance of friendship, family, and community.

The film will be shown in a remastered version, delivering breathtaking clarity for an unforgettable experience.

Maggi Swallow, Events Support Coordinator, expressed her enthusiasm: “Despite Storm Bertie during our last cinema night, we had a great turnout. The shared meal created a welcoming atmosphere, and the film brought everyone together. We’re thrilled to follow it up with It’s a Wonderful Life. It’s a film that inspires hope, empathy, and the true spirit of the season.”

Volunteer Isis Mera added: “Being part of Llandovery Cinema has been so rewarding. It’s amazing to see people come together, share stories, and enjoy great films. This screening is going to be a festive highlight for our town!”
