A concert was held near Builth Wells last weekend in aid of St David`s Church in Llanddewi'r Cwm.
Five local musicians entertained the lively audience in Maesmynis Church Hall on June 24, playing a grand selection of music and song.
The event raised more than £250 for St David's Church.
An old Lonnie Donegan hit, 'Putting on the Style' was very popular, with the audience joining in the chorus. Other pieces included 'Duelling Banjos' performed by Paul Jays and Ami. Chopin's Raindrops Prelude was played by Leigh Spicer, and opera favourite 'Un Bel Di' from Madama Butterfly was sung by Penny Nicholson.
Marcia Vigar expertly accompanied several pieces on the accordion and got the audience clapping along.
