Radnor Young Farmers Club officials are bracing themselves for what is always one of the busiest mornings of the year when tickets for the Federation’s Entertainment Festival go on sale.
Tickets go on sale for the popular event on Saturday, January 28.
County Chairman John James says anecdotal evidence tells him sales are likely to be stronger than ever.
“It is one of our most popular events of the year and the phone lines are always manic, but this year could be even more demanding,” said Mr Jones.
“Due to the pandemic, we haven’t had a Drama, Pantomime or Entertainment Festival for three years and there is no doubt audiences and members have really missed it. So, there is certainly going to be no shortage of interest in tickets for the week and we would really encourage those wanting to attend to not leave it too late.”
Clubs across Radnor are already practising for the Festival, which is due to run from Tuesday, February 21 through to the Gala Finals Night on Saturday, February 25 at The Albert Hall, Llandrindod Wells.
Tickets will go on sale by phone from 9am - 2pm on Saturday, January 28. The ticket line phone numbers are: 01597 829008 or 824096 and Mr James is urging customers to be patient.
“We will get to you as soon as we can but, while we get in extra volunteers to help, it does take a while to process each payment,” he said.
“But keep trying as it will be worth the wait as members are really keen to get back on stage after three years away and we’re sure the productions will be of the usual very high standard.”
