On Friday, 26 and Saturday, 27 April, Llandrindod Wells Theatre Company take to the stage once again, when they perform “Lockdown In Little Grimley” and “Murder! In Little Grimley” at Howey Village Hall.
The two one act comedies are the latest in a series of six comedies, written by David Tristram. The theatre company, led by directors Keith Davies and Tara Simmons, staged the first two in the Grimley series ten years ago and are now set to continue the antics of the inept members of the Little Grimley Amateur Dramatic Society, as they struggle to return from the Covid-19 lockdown and then attempt to perform a whodunit with an unexpected twist.
Back in the director’s chair, Keith is joined by two members of the original cast. Jane Blees and Reece Simmons both jumped at the chance of recreating their roles, a decade after first treading the boards. Jo Francis, Phil Hill and Nic Prince complete the cast and Owain Price takes charge of the technical aspects of the performances for the first time.
Howey Village Hall has been selected as the ideal venue to create a totally immersive visit to Little Grimley. With laughs and plot twists at every turn, a thoroughly entertaining evening is guaranteed for audiences. Performances start at 7.30pm and tickets are available from Coversure in Middleton Street.
