The Met Office has issued new weather warnings for Powys.
They have placed a yellow weather warning for ice on Saturday across the county.
Whilst falling snow will start to clear from the south and east of the warning area, but lying snow and ice will likely continue to be a hazard through the rest of today.
Icy stretches should become confined to higher ground in the afternoon, before temperatures fall below freezing widely this evening.
This will lead to untreated surfaces left wet by snow melt becoming icy at all levels, with some disruption to travel likely.
Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces are to be expected, and some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths are likely to occur.
