Brecon Mountain Rescue Team were called out to Pen-y-Fan on Saturday, January 13.

The team, who were celebrating the launch of their new headquarters just a day before, help guide a family off the hillside.

The family had become cold, tired and disorientated within the Pen-y-Fan fog.

A spokesperson for the team said: " As they had children with them, they did the right thing to call Mountain rescue and were guided off the hill to team members who were heading up to meet up with them. They were very happy to get off the hill to safety and had a good cwtch off Rusty the search dog!"
