Llandrindod Wells-based cancer support charity The Bracken Trust has been presented with a cheque for £550 by chairman of Llanbister Show committee Geoff Morgan.
This was a donation from a well-attended joint fundraising choral evening in February in Llanbister Hall, which featured Rhayader Male Voice Choir and soloists.
This year’s Llanbister Show, the first in the local show season, takes place on Monday, May 27.
Organisers anticipate that this year’s offering will feature even more exciting activities than last year’s very successful event.
There is just about time to book an advert in the programme, due out in April, which helps with printing and running costs.
For details email [email protected], see the show’s Facebook page or phone the secretary on 07598 101713.
Open ground stall spaces are also available to community groups and traders.
