Brecknock YFC held its annual Stock Judging Day over the weekend at Brecon Livestock Market.
The event took place on Sunday, October 20 by kind permission of McCartneys.
A total of 65 members competed in the live beef, lambs, commercial ewes, pigs and animal health questionnaire competitions.
It was also great to see more than 40 junior members take part.
Congratulations to Dan of Sennybridge YFC on winning the Robert Davies Shield for Best Stock Judger 16 years or under.
The Special Award Shield was awarded to Ifan of Trecastle YFC for Best Stock Judger 18 years or under.
Cerys of Sennybridge YFC was awarded the Sennybridge YFC Trophy for Best Stock Judger 21 years and under.
Elin of Sennybridge YFC was awarded the Evan Morgan Shield for Best Stock Judger 28 years and under.
Earlier in the week, the federation also held its annual Carcass Judging competition at W J Geroge Butcher.
Both Carcass and Live Stock Judging competitions were combined and Ifan of Trecastle YFC was awarded the FUW Trophy for overall Junior Stock Judger of the Year.
Elin of Sennybridge YFC was awarded the Caleb Roberts Trophy for overall Senior Stock Judger of the Year.
Congratulations to all individual and overall winners who will now go forward and represent the county and both English and Welsh Winter Fairs in November.

On Sunday, Brecknock YFC also held its annual County Harvest Festival at St John Evangelist, Tretower.
