Powys Brecknock Federation of WIs held their Annual Carol Service at St Brynach Church, Llanfrynach, on Sunday, December 1.

The church was full of members and supporters for a service of six carols, lessons, Members’ Choirs, and readings.

The Carol Service also showcased the WI’s crafting skills with Christmas tree decorations. So many were donated by the members that there were more than enough for the tree, with the remainder beautifully displayed along the windowsills.

These lovely creations have since been donated to Trenewydd Care Home, Abbeyfield House, and Morgannwg House Care Home.

Following the service, the congregation retired to Llanfrynach Village Hall for refreshments - homemade mince pies, of course!

PBFWI would like to thank the Rev Liz Bramley, the organist Mrs Rita Williams, St Brynach Church, the Llanfrynach community, WI members, and supporters, without whom the Carol Service would not have been possible.
