Brecon’s Dering Lines Army camp is opening its doors to the public again this Friday for its annual bonfire night.
Gates will open at 5.45pm on Friday, November 4 and the bonfire will be lit at 7pm,
The event will also feature a professional fireworks display by Sandlings Fireworks and a best guy competition.
Hot drinks and food, including a Gurkha curry, will be on sale at the community event which is organised by the Infantry Battle School.
All money raised during the evening goes towards service charities such as the Gurkha Welfare Trust as well as local charities, including the Brecon Mountain Rescue Team.
Captain Jamie Thomas, Adjutant at the battle school, said: "We are extremely grateful for all of the help and support that we get from the people of Brecon, as well as the emergency services and Powys County Council."
Admission is £3 for adults and £1 for children.
