New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Mid Wales Art Centre at Maesmawr, Caersws, Powys; rated on March 25

• Rated 5: Piccadilly Caterers at The Strand Cafe, Regent Street, Talgarth, Brecon Powys; rated on March 21

• Rated 5: Talybont Stores at Talybont On Usk, Brecon, Powys; rated on March 19

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And four ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Arvon Tap House LTD at Arvon House, Temple Street, Llandrindod Wells, Powys; rated on March 20

• Rated 5: The Usk & Railway Inn at Sennybridge, Brecon, Powys; rated on March 20

• Rated 5: Castle Inn at Knucklas, Knighton, Powys; rated on February 20

• Rated 4: The New Inn at Ystradfellte, Aberdare, Mid Glamorgan; rated on February 21
