New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Powys’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 4: Meadows Cafe at Y Dolydd, Llanfyllin, Powys; rated on August 14

• Rated 3: The Fuel Stop Cafe at Mid Wales Airport, Cilcewydd, Welshpool, Powys; rated on August 14

• Rated 2: Red Ridge Centre at Cefn Coch, Llanfair Caereinion, Powys; rated on August 14

It means that of Powys's 413 similar establishments with ratings, 270 (65%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
