New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Powys’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Spice Fusion at 29 Severn Street, Welshpool, Powys; rated on May 8

• Rated 5: Shepherds Parlour at 9 High Town, Hay-On-Wye, Hereford; rated on April 3

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And three ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: New Tredegar Arms at 23 Heol Gwys, Upper Cwmtwrch, Swansea; rated on May 8

• Rated 5: Old Barn Inn at Three Cocks, Brecon, Powys; rated on April 29

• Rated 4: Castle Hotel Rhayader at The Castle, East Street, Rhayader, Powys; rated on February 6
