New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Powys’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 4: Hatters Cafe at Sub Station, Lion Street, Brecon, Powys; rated on April 26

• Rated 4: Hearthstone - Tan Y Pistyll at Llanrhaeadr-Ym-Mochnant, Oswestry, Shropshire; rated on April 26

• Rated 3: Cafe Rose at 5 Great Oak Street, Llanidloes, Powys; rated on April 26

It means that of Powys's 410 similar establishments with ratings, 282 (69%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
