New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Powys’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Farmers Arms, at Cwmdu, Crickhowell, Powys was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 23.

And The Ynyscedwyn Arms Hotel, at 53 Commercial Street, Ystradgynlais, Swansea was given a score of one on September 23.

It means that of Powys's 273 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 164 (60%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
