New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Powys’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Archie Lilys Cafe Ltd, at Crosslikey Supermarket, Churchstoke, Montgomery, Powys was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 17.

And Sylhet Bangladeshi Restaurant, at 1 Longbridge Street, Llanidloes, Powys was given a score of two on July 17.

It means that of Powys's 409 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 280 (68%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
